Did you know?

Fort Erie has a population of 30,000 with an additonal 10,000 residents during the tourist season.

Fort Erie's local cuisine specialties are Lake Erie Perch, Buffalo Wings and Loganberry Syrup.

Fun Fact: The original founder of Kraft Foods, J.L. Kraft once lived in Fort Erie on Winger Road in Stevensville, operating a small dairy farm.

He eventually went on to make his company the largest food industry in the world.

Peace Bridge

The Peace Bridge, built in 1927, connects Fort Erie, Ontario with Buffalo, New York, USA and is an important economical link between Southern Ontario and the US Eastern Seaboard.

The Peace Bridge Crossing is the second busiest border in Canada with over 5,550,000 Cars and Commercial Vehicles making the trip across in 2009.
